Welcome to Mom-ish Chronicles

Welcome,

At first I was hesitant to start writing on a blog platform but I felt inspired by events that have recently occurred in my life. I don't meet very many moms that are like me so I continued to feel compelled to blog about my life and maybe another dysfunctional mom will find my ramblings comforting.

My name is Bethany Brooks I have been married to my husband for 6 years this upcoming June. My husband is a firefighter in the Air force and we currently reside in Clovis, New Mexico at Cannon AFB but will be making a move to Barksdale AFB very soon. We have two beautiful boys named Alexander(4years old) and Joseph(1 years old). I am also a fur mom to our Weenie dog Daisy May for 6 years and our Dalmatian Sparky for 3 years this July. Can you really be a fire family if you don't own a Dalmatian named Sparky? I'm kidding. Maybe. 

I fully intend for my blog to be a place where I am 100% authentic about my life as a mother, a wife, and the different things that occur during this crazy ride called life. I am not a perfect mom by any means and I really connect to other moms that fully understand that themselves.

If you are looking for parenting hacks, real life situations, easy family dinner recipes and possibly some favorite criminal/horror shows to watch after the kiddos are in bed my blog may be the perfect place for you. 

I would love to inspire someone to write down what they are feeling and maybe make some great friends along the way.
