Lemon Butter Garlic Shrimp



Recipe:


1-2 lbs. X-Large shrimp 
1 lemon
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
Half a stick of butter
Salt
Pepper
Basil




Preheat oven to 350. Begin by placing your shrimp into a strainer (if using fresh shrimp you may skip this step) run cold water over them. It is important  not to use warm water or they will begin to cook slowly. Once the shrimp have thawed place them into a shallow baking dish. In a small sauce pan melt butter on low heat and add minced garlic. Slowly cook until butter has completely melted and combined nicely with the garlic. Pour butter mixture over shrimp. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and basil to taste. Slice your lemon. Place half on top of shrimp as garnish and extra flavor. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes until shrimp reach a nice pink color. Squeeze remaining lemon over shrimp. Optional serve with asparagus and Enjoy!
